Social Emotional Summit - 3/28/2012
“The social/emotional health of our students is critical to the success of every child," said Donna Boros, regional superintendent of schools for Jackson and Perry Counties. "With this in mind, bullying is a significant barrier to the learning and health of our students. Across the nation, it has reached epidemic proportions with catastrophic consequences. At this conference, we welcome the opportunity to give teachers and administrators additional strategies and information to prevent and stop bullying and promote social/emotional health. All of us want to make our buildings, classrooms, playgrounds, and buses a safe harbor for all students."
